Although it’s been a while since I ran an F&I department, I can still remember the isolation that can come from being the single employee of a department. Today there are a number of resources available to you on the internet to help with that “hello-is-anybody-out-there” feeling but none with the strength and reputation of Ethical F&I Managers. This is a group created and run by Marv Eleazer (also known as Mad Marv), Finance Director of Langdale Ford in Valdosta, Georgia. Marv is also a regular contributor to F&I Showroom Magazine. In order to access Marv’s blog, you will be asked some questions to assure that the site is used by only those in the business of F&I. Once a member, you will find answers to just about any question or concern you have. Be aware: Marv retains the right to remove a post that isn’t in the spirit of the Ethical F&I Managers blog.
Too many subjects are discussed to go into specifics, but what you won’t find are people trying to “sell” you, put you down, intimidate you, or beat their chests. You will find F&I Managers from all over the country who sincerely want to help you get answers and be the best F&I Manager you can be.
To access the site you need to use Facebook but it’s well worth it.
