Spotlight On: Jennifer Knight of Laurel Chrysler Jeep Hyundai

As we know, change doesn’t always come easy. Most of us reach a point where the idea of changing chewing gum brands requires some thinking. So imagine that you have a little experience in F&I, think you might like to try car sales, but really don’t know what you want. You apply to an F&I position a few hours away from home, accept the job, and find yourself relocating to a town in south western Pennsylvania where you know no one. This is what Jennifer Knight did not too long ago. It should also be mentioned that she did this without the benefit of knowing the car brand or the Pennsylvania state paperwork. It would seem that it could take months to ramp up in a situation like this. But Jennifer excelled! And with the help of everyone in the Laurel Group, from sales people and other F&I managers to the office personnel, she managed to meet the criteria to win our F&I Manager of this newsletter. I have had the opportunity to train Jennifer and to work with her since she first started her F&I career. Simply stated, she has a losing-is-not-an-option approach to her job and a view of life that greets change as an adventure rather than an adversity. She seeks out the help she needs to succeed at her job and works at getting better every day. Jennifer is always analyzing her past deals to see where she can improve. She is a great communicator and never fails to let her Jeram Representative or me know when there is something she needs help with, or when she has had an especially successful day. We know that this is only the beginning of a successful F&I career for Jennifer. It is with great pleasure that we congratulate her on this achievement.
