Kaylin Barber and Marcus Divito of Moon Township Ford near Pittsburgh are F&I professionals. Both have been in the car business a long time and both have many years behind the F&I desk. That can be both a negative and a positive. A positive because they know this business and the job inside out and upside down. A negative if they become inflexible to change. They both have the positive side of this coin but neither one believes that they can’t still learn more about this business and make the necessary changes and adjustments to stay on top of their game. They proved this when they were asked to sell new products, work with a different F&I company, and attend training classes. Change is never easy, especially when you are already recognized for being good at what you do. So how did Kaylin and Marcus handle it all? By setting aggressive goals and, in many cases, over-achieving them to become the F&I Managers that Jeram Marketing has selected (statistically) to spotlight. For them, it was just another day at work. They don’t work hard and get results for the accolades. They do it because they have high expectations of themselves and want to give their dealership 100%. One of the characteristics that I have personally witnessed is a “no excuses” attitude. No matter the customer, the lender, or the deal structure, there is no reason for not finding the right product or package for that customer. Jeram Marketing congratulates Kaylin Barber and Markus Divito on all of their F&I accomplishments.
